James Hill is a 30 year old charismatic self-starter and self-made business man from Chesterfield, best known for his successes winning Celebrity Big Brother and as a favourite candidate on The Apprentice.

Not one to be away from the spotlight for too long, James went on to film 5 Star Hotel for E4 which transmitted this Spring
An enigmatic character, James first captured our attention in series 10 of The Apprentice. Where he caused quite a stir with his shirtless arrival onto our screens and was soon labelled the ‘hottest Apprentice candidate to ever hit our screens’, sending Twitter into meltdown! His rapport with Lord Sugar gripped viewers and ratings dropped by 20% after he exited the series.
James's stint on the Apprentice catapulted him into the headlines and onto the front pages of the red tops and he soon became a firm favourite in the weekly magazines who are still supporters and are looking forward to James’ next chapter. His charisma and sense of fun led to him guesting on radio shows including Radio 1 with Greg James, Radio 1 Extra with Charlie Sloth and Fubar with Mark Dolan and Lizzie Cundy. It wasn’t long before the Producers of Celebrity Big Brother saw his potential and snapped him up where he is proved to be a big hit with fans of the show and went on to win the series with 45% of the final votes. Since then he has graced the front cover of various magazines including Attitude / Closer / New / OK! and has guest starred on a variety of TV shows .
James' flair for business began at 13, starting his first business at school by purchasing chocolates and biscuits with his pocket money and selling them to his school friends. James struggled at school due to dyslexia and left school with no qualifications, however, he persevered and took his GCSE's twice so that he could sit his A-Levels. The down to earth and charismatic businessman has gone on to be successful in many business ventures, from car washes and arcade games to being the middleman in a breeze-block import business. Lord Sugar said he saw "sparks of entrepreneurism" in James and found it "very hard to demoralise someone with such fighting spirit." This fighting spirit is what has led to James bouncing back from the effects of the recession and he has now set up an innovative business working with young people with learning difficulties.
A keen sportsman, James played football at Intermediate level in Dublin and then Semi pro football in England between the ages of 22 and 26. He is a passionate supporter of Manchester City. James played Rugby and Golf for Chesterfield as a teenager and has a handicap of 7. He is a good skier, a keen boxer, an award winning horse rider and show jumper, and an all-round athlete who attends the gym 5 times a week.
James is a passionate traveller and is fortunate enough to have explored the globe through both work and play. Always keen to learn about new cultures, James has visited: Thailand, Cambodia, Mauritius, Kenya, Russia, Egypt, Dubai, Holland, Denmark, Germany, The Caribbean, USA, Poland, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal and France.
James is currently concentrating on his new business but is still open to new and exciting media opportunities.
