Professional dancer, columnist and Dad, James Jordan has now become a TV personality in his own right. Married to his proffessional dance partner Ola for twenty years, the pair have recently launched their phenomenal health and fitness plan ‘Dance Shred’ which they devised to help them lose over six stone between them! The plan is proving to be an incredible success, selling thousands of plans in just a few days, and places James firmly in the fitness space now that he has qualified as a Personal Trainer.
James and Ola recently starred in ITV’s flagship show The Full Monty which saw them get naked to raise awareness for cancer, a cause close to James’ heart having lost his beloved father to brain cancer in 2021.
A committed and engaging TV personality, James skated to victory on ITV’s legendary show ‘Dancing on Ice’ in 2019 where he had the time of his life learning a new skill and going on to lift the coveted winners trophy.
A confident performer, James recently enjoyed presenting a travelogue for Channel 5, and taking part in Celebrity Catchphrase where he won over £40k for his chosen charity! A regular weekly columnist for Hello Magazine for 4 years, James always writes with his trademark honesty and sense of humour, and is loving his latest column with wife Ola about their beautiful daughter Ella and all the challenges they face in parenthood.
James took to the stage with his wife Ola for their first pantomime in 2019 and he embraced playing the baddie Fleshcreep in Jack in the Beanstalk which received rave reviews and cemented a newfound love of acting.
From the tender age of 10 when he started dancing, it soon became clear that James had a gift and he went on to compete professionally and win endless awards and championships throughout his illustrious dance career.
His incredible talent was heightened when he was partnered with his now-wife Ola, whom he met professionally when she was just 15. They were perfect together and within three weeks Ola had moved to the UK and they became dance partners.
Within six months of meeting, they entered their first competition and after this amazing partnership was formed they went on to compete all over the world, winning many championships and becoming one of the top 12 dance couples in the world, also representing England in the World Championships.
It wasn’t only their dance skills that blossomed on the dance floor, James and Ola fell in love and were married in October 2003. They moved to Hong Kong where they both taught Latin American dancing for 4 years before becoming part of the BBC1 Strictly Come Dancing series.
A keen sportsman, James loves to take part in activities such as golf, pool, tennis, squash and riding his Motorbike a Honda CBR600RR and driving his many sports cars!. James can often be found at Brands Hatch taking part in track days with MSV. He also owns a speedboat and loves water skiing and wakeboarding. He is extremely competitive, and loves to take part in anything that means he can show this competitive streak!
James also teaches and runs his own dance events and is passionate about spreading the word of ballroom dancing to young people. He also took part in a celebrity version of ‘Total Wipeout’ and James appeared on ‘Tonight’s The Night’, dancing with a very deserving member of the public. Celebrity Big Brother beckoned in 2015 and again for Celebrity All-Stars in 2017. In Jan 2019 he and Ola starred in E4’s Celebrity Coach trip where they had a blast with fellow celebs on a hilarious adventure to Benidorm.
