Without a doubt one of the sexiest female dancers on the planet, Ola Jordan captured the hearts of the UK during her 9 years as one of the leading professional dancers on BBC1’s Strictly Come Dancing. This was closely followed by playing the perfect Jungle Jane in ITV’s I’m A ‘Celebrity Get Me Outta Here!’ and then getting naked to raise awareness of cancer for ITV’s flagship show ‘The Full Monty’. Today, she is getting pulses racing again in a different way with the release of her hugely successful health and fitness plan ‘Dance Shred’. Devised with her fellow dance champion husband, James Jordan, the couple are fox trotting fans to fitness with their unique and fun exercise routines which helped them lose six and a half stone between them!
The award winning, champion dancer juggles being mum to baby Ella (4), with writing a regular weekly parenting column for Hello Magazine Online and running her ‘Dance Shred’ business. Ola also has a weekly Strictly Come Dancing Review Column which is sponsored by Mecca Bingo and captures the opinionated dancer’s view of all the shows contestants and dances. Ola became the face of Freemans for two years and appears regularly on ITV shows such as Loose Women and has presented ITV competition films. She was the head judge for Poland’s Dancing With The Stars and recorded ‘Celebrity Coach Trip’ in 2019 for E4 with her husband and fellow dancer James. The couples ‘banter’ and searing honesty always sets them apart from other TV personalities.
Ola was born in Poland and came to England aged 17. She began dancing at the age of 10, she won the Polish Championship in 1999 at 17 years old, and then went to the World Championships where she was placed in the Top 12 in November 1999. Ola split from her dance partner shortly after the World Championships and partnered with James Jordan who persuaded her to move to England in April 2000. Within 3 years they were married! They went on to compete all over the world, winning many championships and becoming one of the top 12 dance couples in the world, also representing England in the World Championships.
James and Ola moved to Hong Kong where they both taught Latin American dancing for 4 years before returning to star in ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ where they shone for 9 series! ‘There is a bit of competition between James and I of course, but we both want each other to do the best we can. But I do want to win!’
Since quitting the show to pursue new ventures, Ola has never been busier! She enjoys juggling motherhood with being a columnist, businesswoman, influencer and a regular face on TV.
